2/n Rawal Jaitra Singh was so strong and courageous ruler that not only other Rajputs even Sultan of Delhi could not humble him

According to Abu stone inscriptions- " He was Sage Agastya for the Ocean like armies of Turashkas"
3/n The first encounter of Rawal Jaitra Singh with Delhi Sultan was between 1222-1229 AD

Jaitra Singh defeated Sultan Iltutamish but his capital Nagda was destroyed

From that onwards Chittor become capital of Mewar
4/n The terror of Rawal Jaitra Singh in the heart of Sultan Iltutamish was at such extent that he never again dared to attack on Mewar
5/n In 1223 AD , He defeated force of Khwarizmi crown prince Jalaluddin Mangbarai

After defeating Qubaicha in battle of Uchch, Khwarizmi detach a force under Khawas Khan towards Gujrat

Jaitra Singh destroyed the army of Sindh when either going or returning from Anhilwara
6/n Balban, a genius military general of Nasiruddin Mehmud
transfered to Nagor

He attempted to plunder Mewar but Rawal Jaitra Singh successfully defend his territory and Balban had to retreat with bared hand
7/n Qutlagh Khan, governor of Bayana, one of the leading opponent of Balban escaped to Chittor

Balban marched towards Chittor with his army and made a useless attempt to capture it

Jaitra Singh proved more than a match a Turashkas again had to return with no success
n/n Jaitra Singh's incessant military activities against neighbouring states and Turkish army earned an undying fame

In his time, he was the supreme in western India

After Ajmer's Chauhans, Guhilots were the only powerful rajput dynasty who could preserve their own independance
