If Ted Cruz isn't able to run for President it might reduce his incentive to attack our Republic and our constitution. 2/ On its face, it appears to show Ted's mom became a Canadian citizen while she and his dad lived in Canada. If that's the case Ted likely wasn't an American citizen at birth. Unlike Cruz's coup claims, there is strong documentary evidence Cruz was not a US citizen at birth.
3/ Americans allowed this Canadian to emigrate to our country but it was with the belief that he would embrace American values and remain loyal to our republic and its constitution. And yet, look how he's behaved.

5/ As TPM alum @KT_thomps explained here in 2016, TPM first obtained the document in 2013, shortly after Cruz entered the Senate claiming he was not an immigrant to the United States.
6/ Thompson spoke to Cruz's representatives in 2013 who raised various theories as to why the document might not really mean Cruz's parents became Canadian citizens. At the time we decided not to publish the story in part because Cruz was not yet a candidate for President and ...
