why you should stop referring to txt as bts' juniors - a VERY important thread /srs
disclaimer: no hate towards any groups mentioned in this thread....this is only hate directed towards bighit and their unfair treatment towards txt
yes when txt debuted the got a lot of attention because they were bts' junior group, but isn’t that the point of this entire industry? of course bighit would exploit that for benefiting txt right before they debuted, but bts didn’t really promote them, did they? +
people checked them out because they were under bighit. And that’s normal in this industry, take treasure as an example, people checked them out because they were yg’s new group. That’s just how the industry works no wrong with that....BUT +
no one checks treasure out anymore because they’re under yg, no one checks stray kids out anymore because they’re under jyp, no one checks ateez out anymore because they’re under kq— so WHY does bighit still use bts to promote txt? +
bighit is constantly using bts to promote txt, which is such a bad thing because they won’t be known as anything else if they continue. it’s not something they did at debut only like many other entertainments and groups— they’re still doing it almost 2 years in their career +
look at this, txt is having their japanese comeback and they’re going to have yet another anime opening which is such a good opportunity for them—instead of setting us up to get hate from anime fans thats also bts antis by doing this (look at pic) why not just promote them as txt
the difference between txt and other groups is other 2019 rookie groups stopped being promoted as their seniors junior a LONG time ago, no one knows stray kids as twice’s juniors, no one knows ateez as block b’s junior, no one knows oneus as mamamoo’s juniors +
bighit is SO wrong for doing this towards txt— take todays events as an example, was it even necessary for txt to be there? No. it was all about bts, they watched the kids dressed up as bts, singing to bts, talking about bts, making letters to bts and not them +
and that’s so freaking unfair isn’t it? at this point bighit are setting txt up to only be known as bts’ junior group and we as moas should stop that immediately, idc what we have to do we can’t just sit here and let it all happen because txt will never be able to make their own+
reputation in this industry if they’re constantly called bts’ junior group txt, they should be known as what they are: 4th gen leaders +
txt has had so many achievements since their debut...they’re their own idols, their own group. txt did all of this alone, bts had nothing to do with their career and how well they’ve done. all of txt are natural aces and they should get their recognition they deserve
literally just look at all these achievements, they’re doing so well but are barely getting the recognition from the public and bighit that they deserve
idk what more to add, just please i beg you, stop referring to txt as bts’ juniors. wouldn’t you be pissed if you were known for being your older siblings younger sibling, and everyone would just disregard everything you’ve done and achieved? please just respect txt, its not hard
txt is their own fucking group and they work so hard — so please act like it too

also just to clarify.....this is not towards kbs today specifically but in general bighit and everyone else like broadcasting stations and fans and antis literally everyone because it needs to stop
also while yall are here being angry retweeting this as you should !! please also keep in mind that we also need to work hard for txt and retweeting and trending stuff on twitter isn’t good enough, go use your anger on streaming and voting too !!
