If you really think the circuit parties in Puerto Vallarta, the pool parties in Florida, the raves in Hasenheide are about "the gays," and our "deadly cult" of hedonism triggered, some would say, by "internalised homophobia," you haven't been paying attention.

They are not about "the gays," they're about whiteness, settler colonialism, capital (including sexual capital), and the feeling that some people have that travelling is their inalienable right. Stop blaming the "bad gays" for tarnishing our imagined "community."

They aren't doing anything any other privileged dick around the world isn't also doing. So unless you bring some class analysis to this, you may as well be as "reckless" as they are.
