People really downplay the role that anti-feminism & the Men’s Rights Activist movement had in inspiring people to become fascists. The hatred for feminism & their need to be superior/dominant over women is what helped got many people into fascism because it appealed to /1

their need & desire to dominate over others. The widespread beliefs of male chauvinism, viewing femininity negatively, & double standards towards women played a role in getting people to support an ideology that allows them to maintain the patriarchy because they want to be /2

rulers & to have control over women. Their strong opposition to anything that challenges this power structure (ie feminism) is what motivated them to pursue ideas & beliefs that’ll justify them holding onto that power structure by any means necessary no matter how brutal /3

And it soon became a pipeline for white supremacy, Islamophobia, anti-LGBT bigotry, & Western cultural chauvinism. It’s the attraction to power structures & superiority is what got people to believe in more bigoted/fascist ideologies after being exposed to anti-feminism /4

And once they started incorporating more of these beliefs after getting started with anti-feminism that’s how they started to embrace bigotry & supremacist ideologies more & more till they finally embraced actual fascism

People still don’t realize how serious this pipeline /5

is to this day & why it’s important to teach people not to embrace bigotry & supremacist ideologies. And people still downplay the dangers of anti-feminism because they can’t possibly imagine what could go wrong even though it has already led to disastrous consequences /End
