RT) We are collecting petitions for a child named Jungin who has died from child abuse after adoption. We need at least 10k for it to be effective but we're still at 200. Since Jungin was a baby there are not a lot of people to sign petitions so we need a lot of support. > https://twitter.com/hxppykitty/status/1345486953089699840
Since only people living in Korea are able to sign petitions, what we can do is raise awareness to this tragedy.
The adoptive mother is claiming that she accidentally dropped the baby which led to her death, but the autopsy results strongly suggest that the baby was intentionally murdered.
On the episode of "Unanswered Questions" that aired last night, they conducted experiments that raised suspicions of murder. Pancreatic rupture (which Jungin died from) requires 3800-4200 Newtons of force. This isn't possible from just dropping a child, but needs great force.
Such a great amount of force could only be applied if the adoptive mom had, for example, jumped on the baby. It is unknown how she applied so much force but because she did, the pancreas (the innermost organ) ruptured. As a result, the baby died from excessive bleeding.
There are several accounts of her adoptive mom mistreating & abusing her, such as leaving her in the car, filming her abuse, feeding her gochujang instead of real food, etc. No baby should ever have to go through such horrific abuse.
Jungin was just 16 months old when she was murdered. 16 months.
Right now, Korean people, old and young, are trending this hashtag #정인아미안해 ( #SorryJungin). People are posting photos of them holding messages that say "정인아 미안해 우리가 바꿀게" (We are sorry Jungin, we'll change the world).
We can spread awareness by posting photos or messages expressing our condolences. Please use these hashtags, thank you.
