if i were a billionaire i would simply give all my money away and stop being a billionaire

sometimes i calculate how much i'd need to win in the lotto to never work again. it always comes out to 12 or 13 million. i could be a billionaire (not even a varsity billionaire. a JV one, with $1 billion to my name), give away 99% of my money, and STILL have 10 mil left over

i say this to say: im not exaggerating when i say i'd give it all away. i mean it. because who needs BILLIONS of dollars? not i said the fly

anyway, as i sit over here pressed about wanting to donate to everything but not having enough money to singlehandedly save the world, im thinking about how the world would be so much better if the people whose donations could *actually* save the world felt compelled to do so
