We're getting into another phase of lockdown,everyone'll be having a tough time.But it's important for businesses to thrive.The major burden falls to marketers and to a smaller extent salespeople.But in an age where the 2 can't be separated what can businesses do to stay afloat?
1.Reach-A significant presence is going to be very necessary to thrive, continuously rubbing meaningful content in the eyes of your audience will be key to success. Traditional marketing will not provide you with such a dynamic campaign as it is very rigid.
2.Targeted marketing- The ability to deliver the right message to the right person is the core of digital marketing. Nothing more annoying than continuously hearing a seed company advertising seeds to the older community yet the youth are very much involved in farming.
3.Ability to measure R.O.I during a pandemic will save you a lot of explaining during quarterly meetings.Traditional marketing is very hard to measure and has too many assumptions.Using digital marketing tools will help you measure success and find out what works and what doesn't
4.Since most of us will be working from home it is important for you to access and use marketing data in REAL TIME. Traditional marketing campaigns as mentioned earlier will become extremely hard to measure and access results.
5.Finally Social media marketing is just another branch of Digital marketing. There are many other ways to execute digital marketing campaigns.
