First off, what is little space?

Little space is where you get into the head space of a child, entering a carefree space away from adult life. It is often used as a coping mechanism to deal with adult stress in life and is completely valid. This is also known as age regression.

Things like wearing diapers and pacifiers is pretty common in this space as it helps a little to get into the space. You have to understand that being stuck between adult space and little space is incredibly frustrating so such activities are necessary for a healthy transition.

Now a lot of times littles need a caregiver to get into little space. This caregiver pretty much plays a parental role for them. They tuck them in bed, give them kisses and cuddles, run them a little bubble bath or read them a bed time story.

Caregivers just like parents have to be strict at times because you have to understand that the little is actually in a childlike space and can do reckless stuff if not monitored. The punishments can range from timeouts to getting no candies and stuff.

Here we come to the DDLG part. A lot of people incorporate sexual activities in both playtime and punishments. The caregiver plays the role of a "dominant" who are often referred to as Daddy or Mommy.

This is completely wrong because it gives infancy a sexual connotation. Yes, you're not sexualizing a literal infant but you're getting off to the idea of making out with someone who is not only dressed as an infant but is also in the headspace of an infant.

AgeRe (Age Regression) is completely valid and so is the role of the caregiver. But sexualizing this space is just not right and that's exactly what DDLG does. DDLG is a kink while AgeRe is a coping mechanism. That's the difference.
