A source interviewed for the article stated: “My understanding is that some of the investors were brought in thanks to Ghislaine and her connections.”
The new investors, according to the article, included Glenn Dubin ("who himself had a longstanding social and financial relationship with Epstein"), Google's Eric Schmit, an Israeli shipping magnate, Ghislaine herself, and others.
