I am the daughter of these two high risk Floridians. Mom is 82. Dad is 84.
I am trying to help them get the #COVID vaccine. I signed them up through their county health department. No clue as to next steps. No one knows.

Florida has no statewide plan to get seniors vaccinated.

. @GovRonDeSantis, your words about caring for seniors are empty. There is no plan to vaccinate seniors. Every county is on its own. Seniors are waiting in line, peeing in bags, sleeping outside in the cold. Or,like my seniors, waiting on directions for next steps. Dangerous fail.

FWIW, I have no confidence that a call telling my parents where and when they can get vaccinated will ever come. I am not blaming our health departments across FL. They are already overworked and unsupported by Tallahassee. This is an absolute cluster with deadly implications.
