The UK has banned hormone blockers for anyone under the age of 16 because they believe "kids can not concent" and testosterone cannot be accessed to anyone under the age of 18.
This FORCES trans youth to go their entire process of puberty with the sex they do not identify as which makes transitioning so much harder due to things such as breast development, voice dropping
and waiting list for a first appointment while counselling is 3 YEARS long which then means people added at age 16 will be too old for the list they're on by the time they even get an appointment.
we are suffering. the uk is so extremely transphobic, 83% of trans young people have experienced name-calling or verbal abuse and we are being forced to live as the sex we do not identify as because of the government.
Suicide rates for trans people (especially trans youth) are rapily increasing. 27 fucking percent of trans kids attempt suicide, it is ridiculous.
We are suffering horribly, lives are being lost because of this, we need your help to spread the word because not everyone is able to speak up about this or have a platform. Please, we beg for help.
