Okay I’ve had a sleep now , just wanna tweet out a huge thank you to the team of @ratatousical for giving me this opportunity, a MASSIVE thank you to the friends I’ve made in the other TikTok creators, and a WORLDWIDE thank you to all the supporters of this project on TikTok.

It genuinely would NOT have happened if not for the AMAZINGLY enthusiastic fandom of our silly rat creations on TikTok. You did this.

On a personal note though, living in Bathurst NSW, I am what I thought was the FURTHEST THING from Broadway. The support you guys have given me-

-has been extremely overwhelming and I just want to say that art can truly come from anywhere and it’s important to support the arts in regional/rural areas.
There are so many talented creators out there, as a music tutor I have taught MANY of them. And more opportunities like -

-this for smaller creators, can give hope to rural artists.
I don’t like the narrative that small town = small success. When I was growing up I bought into that so much and honestly lost a lot of hope of ever being a songwriter on a global scale. I KNOW ITS JUST A RAT SHOW BUT-

It has given me renewed confidence in my constantly evolving songwriting. It has done WONDERFUL things for me, and opened up some avenues I genuinely still don’t think are possible.
LET’S KEEP DOING THAT FOR SMALLER CREATORS. It can only be a good thing! MUCH LOVE xxx
