Ok, want to put this in the Twitterverse before folks smarter than I put it in-tonight was game 10 for the basketball team. If you include exhibitions, do you know what game 10 was for Carolina last year?

12/8 at UVA.

In those ten games the Heels got games against Gardner-Webb, Elon, UNC-W, Winston-Salem State. So, you not only are looking at a team that is full of new guys, but they are *literally* a month behind where they would be

It’s why things are disjointed to some extent, if you Want to blame Roy for not adjusting to this season, it’s fair-but in terms of where they normally would be, they are basically in early December.

So, think about how Tar Heel teams look in early December when they have this much turnover. Adjust your expectations accordingly. Then add in all the schedule shifts. Then add in the modified practices because of Covid. Then add the complete lack of home games.

There’s absolutely a ton to criticize about this team, but...a bit of perspective is going to be needed here.
