WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE UK...
Guys please, PLEASE don't ignore what's happening in the UK right now! Hormone blockers have been banned for anyone under 16 (at which point they're hardly even useful) because kids "can't consent" to using them, and testosterone now cannot be prescribed to anyone under 18...
...this forces trans kids to go through the entire process of puberty as the sex they do not identify which will only make transitioning even harder because of stuff like breast development and voice dropping. Also, the waiting list for the FIRST appointment of gender...
...counselling is 3 years long, meaning many people like myself who were added at ages like 16 will actually be too old for the list were on by the time we get an appointment (as there's two lists, one for under 18s and one for adults)...
...The UK is incredibly transphobic and WE ARE SUFFERING!! Please do not let this go under the radar, we NEED your help. This isn't just about transitioning, but also our lives as trans suicide rates are increasing rapidly. Please help spread the word!

Petitions arwsng super helpful, they're more to spread awareness so don't feel obligated to sign them! And also please only sign if you're from the UK! The most important and helpful thing is to RT threads like this and spread awareness.
Spreading the word is the MOST helpful thing, if you have a platform PLEASE use it, the UK tends takes action on things people are mass discussing so we just have to get people talking about it if we want to see progress.
