1/ Giving feedback on destiny is always a weird thing to do, people been doing that for 6+ years, what makes you think @A_dmg04 , @Cozmo23 or other CMs like @Maurice_BNG didn't already precisely gave that feedback to the right people. Long thread ahead:
Every streamer, reddit thread or twitter post just repeats itself over and over again, to the point where people make a full circle in opinions. It goes to the point where it just gets meme'd on because the D2 community just goes in full circles from love to hate in weeks time.
A decent chunk of the feedback can be thrown out as its literally just junk (e.g "fire Luke Smith, he destroyed Destiny") but then there is also actual good feedback from knowledgeable people in their respective categories.
Here some examples:
@AscendantNomad "Can The Crucible Be Saved?" YT video from Dec 13, 2020

@Sweatcicle "Dear Bungie" YT video from Mar 3, 2020

@DattosDestiny @AyyItsChevy @sc_Slayerage also give constant good feedback on the game
How often did that feedback result in actual meaningful changes to the game? Changing reward chances 5 months after an activity came out isn't really that meaningful if you ask me.

I propose to ask the question "why", why are things the way they are. Do they make sense?
I'll go with 3 topics that recently came up that display this very well.
1. Feedback surrounding the Postmaster and loosing items in there. The sole premise of that feedback was that people are angry that they are loosing ascendant shards due to it being pushed out from blues
however you have to ask why are there ascendant shards in there in the first place?

SK introduced that material and they haven't seen any change since in terms of stack-size limits. It was limited to it being new & stop hoarding. Ask yourself why now.
Why are we STILL limited to only 10 shards, when Bungie pushes for double Nightfall rewards (even this week), sunsetting increasing how often we masterwork things & the actual limit isn't even 10. It is 651 if you fill every available slot. It's been 459 days, they are not new.
2. Sunsetting, yeah big topic. Lots of angry feedback, I'll keep this short. Armor sunsetting currently blows and makes no sense but @joegoroth nailed this already in his recent post. It is a waiting game to see if anything of good substance comes from it.
Weapon sunsetting the way it is done also makes no sense, regrinding for the same rolls is simply infuriating. Dawning guns are a GREAT example on how to do it right.

Sunsetting is happening whether we want it or not however how it should be done can still change.
Ask the why question: Why should anyone in their right mind spent time grinding for the exact same thing, this simply doesn't value anyone's time. If done right, sunsetting isn't too bad if you are actually grinding for something new other than a new cap.
3. Speedrunning. A very niche community that is absolutely disliked by Bungie devs and gets patched & ignored 99% of the time. I simply refer to the "Dusk test" here. "If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck."
Bungie has done everything in their power to limit speedrunning from the tinniest bug fixes that are solely aimed at speedrunners. (PoH Oob, DSC Oob, Sticky Nades, WL0/Sword skating, new Stasis titan skating, incoming fix for Hunter/new Warlock WL0 skating, etc.)
I simply ask why? You allow a map with more holes than swiss cheese to be a trials map but fix out of bounces that only speedrunners use? You say "find new ways" but patch any new ways. It will never be acknowledged but that is how it looks and feels.
I bring Speedrunning up because the Dev time that is spent on fixing things like this are better suited elsewhere.

It is a big topic for a fraction of the already tiny super hardcore community destiny has.

Anyway, moving on.
Destiny 2 feedback can go endless, from unrewarding activities, to the nonsense material ecosystem/limits we have to sandbox and design choices. I simply give the feedback of asking "Why?".
Why are things the way they are and isn't there a better solution out there. That makes more sense.

End of the thread. I probably speak into the twitter void with no following on my own but hey, I tried. lmao
You can follow @ShestD2.
