This is not a serious person. She was an ally during the Bernie fight, but this is disengenuous nonsense. And the kind of thing you say when you want to build an audience off of acrimony and not build a coalition that makes change. It’s sad to see, but gotta let her go.
It is Marxist to examine the conditions of the state forumulate a strategy and to build coalitions to make change. This doesn’t mean you’re “giving up”.

Revolutions and change take time. This is an immutable fact. No amount of genuine dire need or anger can change that. The Bernie campaign should have signaled the end of an electoral strategy. It is madness that there had been no collective autopsy of why it didn’t work.
It is fundamental to Marxism to understand failures, learn from mistakes, examine the basic conditions. This strategy does none of that. It’s barreling headlong into an admittedly losing battle.
It is however liberal to ignore the transgressions of comrades; to practice in idealistic methods that have no concrete end result; to engage in the mystification of processes of change; to lean on parliamentary scheming all liberalism.
Change involves agitation of the masses, revolutionary education and active engagement with those to be liberated.
It would be nice to see leftist media youtubers and podcasters to use their platforms to engage in this arduous, laborious but necessary work.

As one friend pointed out, we are at the brink of an eviction apocalypse. This is an immediate need for work. One that is NOT separate from working M4A. It I’d competir wrapped up in it.
The people are in desperate need of M4A. If passed it would be the most fundamental restructuring of society since emancipation. There are no shortcuts. There are no tricks. It’s not going to happen overnight. Bernie was the Hail Mary and it fell short. Time to get serious.
To pass it there will be violence there will be blood. There will be death. Capital will do everything it can to hold on. It will not play out on fucking C-Span
