First of all, I want to make three things clear:
1.This is simply an opinion of mine, feel free to disagree with it, but please, don’t try to turn this into another ship war. Not everything about is your precious ships
2.There is not one single character who understands Eren completely. If there was, things wouldn't have come to this point.
3.On the contary to how certain shippers try to make me look like, I’m not denying the fact how important Eren and Historia’s relationship is
I think Historia understands Eren, a lot, due to how both characters feel the burden of their fates, Historia being royal blood & Eren being the primary weapon with his powers against the enemies of Paradis and both of them sharing similar thoughts on humanity

But I don't think she understands him as much as some people think
I think some people misunderstand or just don't want to understand Eren's relationship with certain characters to glorify Eren's relationship with Historia. I'm going to explain which part of Eren these certain characters understand
I think Reiner is the character that understands the part of Eren who feels guilty, the selfish part who puts his flawed goal about freedom before other people's lives, kinda like how Reiner put his selfish desires about being a hero before Bertholdt and Annie's lives

And both characters feel extremely guilty due to sacrificing other people's lives for their selfish goals
Mikasa on the other hand, has been only seeing the beautiful part of Eren and ignoring the part she didn't want to see along with Armin. But after chapter 123 when Eren starts the rumbling, Mikasa finally came to understand the violent side of Eren she & Armin have been avoiding

I think her coming to understand Eren fully is going to play a big part on the final battle
Armin may be in denial about Eren, but deep down he understands the part of Eren that collides with his side that soughts for freedom, he understands Eren is not free, that he's a slave to his own idea of freedom itself, which is a major part of Eren's character

And then there's Jean, despite not being there, he's one of the first characters who realized that Eren has been lying to M and A in chapter 112. He's also one of the few people other than M & A to realize Eren's depression & wanted to snap him out of it by picking up a fight

He's the one who realized in 124 that Eren went with genocide because he rejected the other two alternatives available, which were Zeke's euthanasia and the 50 year plan that sacrificed Historia
He's also the one who stated through his questions to Hange regarding the island's safety, the exact reasons why Eren would've been driven to do what he's doing right now. I think Jean's one of the few characters who understands a lot
The fact him not letting his feelings for Mikasa get the best of him by not getting angry at Eren for hurting Mikasa and still seeing through his lies supports it
All and all, Historia understanding Eren better than others just doesn't make much sense to me when these characters & the facts that her being muted for several years & we, still not knowing how much she understands Eren's point of view yet exist
Armin and others may still be letting their thoughts about Eren cloud their judgement and Historia might be the character who understands Eren the most given the fact she had an honest convo with Eren,
but we still can't know that for sure until her hidden conversation with Eren reveals. Until then I'm not going to change my mind

These are my final thoughts on this topic. I respect anyone who respectfully disagrees with this. But I'm not going to respond back to them, because I said what I needed to say and I'm really tired of getting notifications over a topic like this ever since yesterday
