I used to think that when there was a consistent and nagging problem that I faced that I needed to work harder and harder and harder and harder until it was solved.

Now I believe that after 2 “harders” that I need to do the opposite.
I used to think that sugar tastes amazing. And that the most delicious things to eat had it.

Now I believe that added sugar is a loud annoying megaphone that drowns out the most amazing flavors in the world. And that i can’t experience those while the mega phone is blaring.
But also, I still love sugar 🤣
I used to think money was a top motivation for me in business and life.

Now I believe it’s not in my top 10. Learning, teaching, leading and relationships are very high for me.
I used to think that “charge the full ltv up front” was a great strategy.

Now I believe it might be the worst business advice I’ve ever given.
I used to think I needed to bend reality to my will.

Now I believe that asking “What if this is exactly what I need?” is a better question to ask. And it typically produces better results and more happiness.
I used to think that sex in a marriage should just naturally happen all the time at all stages of life.

Now I believe that planning weekly “sex dates” is one of the best things we can do to keep our sex life going and healthy at all times no matter life stage.
I used to think that making sure everyone knew what they needed to do was important in order to hit our goal.

Now I believe that making sure everyone knows the destination and letting them work out the details is better.

Make the target known. Over and over and over agin.
I used to think that the more you did something the easier it would get.

Now I believe that the more you do something and the more you learn it the harder and harder it gets to master.
