For people newer to spirituality and want to start a clean and simple journey this year (or continue yours!),
I came up with a spiritual toolkit to make it more simple and measurable.
It’s a 54321 method.

• Pick
Spirits as your “starting line up” (shoutout to @MsZiggySunshine for the phrase
)
Ex. 5 angels, or 5 ancestors you may know the names of (or not!), guides, or spirit archetypes (ie The Warrior, Divine Mother, Divine Father, Spirit of Discernment, and The Healer)

Don’t pick deities that are a part of a religious pantheon unless you’re working with an initiated priest/priestess from that religion.
(So don’t pick Orisha if you have not worked with an Iyanifa or Babalawo).
Your own guides, ancestors, and angels are up for grabs though.

If you don’t know your guides and ancestors names, reference them by archetype as mentioned above when you need them (ie “I am calling on my benevolent Divine Mother spirits.”)
•
Affirmations or Bible verses/Spells (one for protection, one for abundance, one for cleansing, blah blah etc.). These will be your go-to’s for rituals
You can obviously make your own affirmations, but Bible verses are also just easy to use if you want.

•
Monthly rituals (could be a spiritual bath, full moon meditation, protection candle, etc.). Whatever you resonate with.

•
Goals for yourself for the upcoming year (make them realistic, like going to strengthen relationship with your personal spirits or learn to read your own astrological natal chart)

•
Divination tool for yourself (a deck of cards, a pendulum, dream/automatic writing journal, etc.)
PS: You don’t have to buy a card deck with the intention to read for others, so don’t be intimated by it. You can just own a deck for yourself.

All of the above examples are EXAMPLES. Please use your own discernment and your own intuition to decide how to tweak for yourself.
