If you're right of center but don't want to participate in this frontal assault on democracy, you really ought to be active in Democratic primaries rather than loyally voting Republican in the generals. The DNC is an actually diverse coalition, the RNC is not.
What people want when they say they want bipartisanship is what already occurs within the congressional Democratic caucuses. What occurs in the Republican ones is a perpetual march in the direction of the above, a movement which predates Trump by decades.
