Okay heres a thread explaining all of Gojo’s techniques/domain expansion and all that jazz!

Starting with Limitless: Limitless is kind of the baseline for all of his techniques, it works simultaneously with every other one. It’s inherited throughout the Gojo family. This is basically just math. If you take the number 1 and divide it in half, you get .5, if you divide

that in half, you get .25, and this goes on an on. No matter how many times you divide a number by 2 you will NEVER get 0. You can get numbers as small as .000000000000000001 but this will never be 0. These numbers refer to the space between Gojo and another person. You can get

REALLY close to him, but you’ll never ACTUALLY touch him unless he allows it (hot). The first application of this is Infinity. (This is shown in ep 7 with Jogo). Gojo uses Lmitless to create a space (Infinity) between him and another person, creating an ‘infinite amount of

finite space’. He slows the persons (or objects) movements down. The closer you get to him, the slower you move. He never actually fully stops your movement. He just makes you move slower and slower, and this goes on for infinity. His other techniques, the color techniques, are

a lot harder to break down so I’ll do my best . Starting off with Lapse Blue: using Blue, Gojo is able to create ‘negative limitless’ which isn’t technically possible but neither is any of this really. The way he explains this is he creates ‘-1 apples’. In this case the apples

actually represent distance, making negative distance. Since this can’t actually exist, the world around him adjusts itself to fill in this ‘negative space’. Because the world is trying to fill in this space, Gojo and whoever (or what ever) he is using Blue on are pulled towards

eachother. Blue is essentially Gojo amplifying Limitless so much, creating an impossible situation of negative distance between him and something else and the world trying to fill in that negative distance by pulling him and the object together (simply put). Maximum Output Blue

is an application of Blue where Gojo can focus Blue onto a single object and this results in every single object around him being attracted to that single point. Next, Reversal Red: Reversal Red is essentially the opposite of Blue. Gojo is able to create an explosive vacuum, a

space devoid of matter, a completely empty space. As a result of creating this space, it repels him and whatever object or person away from him with A LOT of force (this is also seen in ep 7 with Jogo). Red is a reversal technique which means it deals with positive cursed energy

instead of the typical negative cursed energy, therefore making it A LOT stronger than Blue. The last of the color techniques is Hollow Purple: this is quite obviously the combination of Blue and Red! Because Blue and Red are the opposite of each other, Purple is very destructive

Purple is activated by Gojo snapping his fingers. This action creates an imaginary mass that demolishes everything in its path. There’s not too much explanation on exactly why or really HOW Purple works, it just kinda... does. Next is his domain expansion: Unlimited Void. Gojo

uses Limitless to create a space within infinity (a space within a space). So, whenever anyone enters his Unlimited Void, all of the actions they’ve ever done in their entire life are forced onto them. They can feel and see EVERYTHING, this information is never ending, it goes on

for infinity. Because there is infinite information bombarding his opponent, their movements and thoughts are extremely limited and slowed down (this is once again seen with Jogo in ep 7) BUT anyone he touches he can allow them to be immune to its effects, that’s why Yuuji was

able to enter his domain without experiencing infinite information. LASTLY OMG is Six Eyes: There’s really limited information on this but it’s basically a sixth sense. Of course Gojo can see but there’s another sense in there that can see all cursed energy, techniques etc and

where they are located. Gojo is basically breaking down information in what he sees as a really high speed and can comprehend and see all cursed energy. This probably ties into why he wears the blindfold, because it’s not like he can just turn Six Eyes off, so it most likely
