Just want to be able to give my phone number and email to the department of health and check a box that says 'yes, I want a covid vaccine when I am eligible!' and then have the state or city give me an idea of what group I qualify for and a 6 week ballpark of when that might be.
As of now, I have received zero information from New York City or State advising me on anything regarding the vaccine. No infographic explaining phizer versus moderna. No guidance on whether I need to make a doctor's appointment or stroll into CVS. The biggest city in America.
I have asthma that hasn't flared up much since I was a kid, but I would tell a doctor about if I got covid. Where do I tell the department of health that I have asthma and where does that put me on the list? I don't need to go early. I just have no idea if that changes anything.
Anyway just thinking out loud and wondering if there is ANY PART OF OUR FEDERAL, STATE, OR CITY GOVERNMENT THAT HAS AN INTEREST IN FACILITATING CLEAR AND USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE VACCINE. Just curious. I want my life back 🥰.
