you know a slowthai verse when you hear one. his energy on a track adds so much value to the whole thing and it is absolutely electric, even if all he is saying is “i see the light”. and not to mention, he DOMINATES on features.
he’s very versatile compared to a lot of his contemporaries over here in the uk. he can make a slow and mellow song with james blake or gorillaz, punk bangers with mura masa, or just straight rap whether that be him going absolutely manic or him storytelling. jack of all trades.
