The dawn of 2021 we cannot put 2020 behind us. 350,000 of our fellow countrymen and women died. More will die, we know this tragic truth
Families are grieving still, people are starving, homeless and hopeless. 2020 is not truly over until we begin to right the ship. Understand that something must be done to try to get our fellow Americans deprogrammed from the conspiracies and the damage done by Trump, et..all
I am not saying forgive and definitely not saying forget. We must always remember how fragile our country truly is. I don't have the answers but Q, Trumpers, OANN, Parler and others are not just going to magically disappear on the 20th.
I do understand that seditious acts have occurred and continue to occur. These must be dealt with. We need to demand that something be done. Our neighbors are full of hate and not afraid to show it right now.
We must do something on our levels about this. Let Washington be Washington, let us be Americans and be pro-active. I don't really know what that means. We just cannot let this continue in our own backyards.
Our parents, children, best friends and those vets we served with cannot just be tossed. We have to figure out how to fix this. We are not all innocent in what has become of our nation. Many of us have been keyboard warriors just yelling back at them.
That did not work before and will not work now. I urge you all to try to come up with viable solutions. I know we cannot just erase the racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia or xenophobia in other's hearts but we have to try to do something.
I would put a challenge out there for us all to try to come up with ideas to strengthen our nation once more and help enlighten those who have been blinded by hate. By all means please tell me what you think we should do. We cannot pretend more than a third
We cannot pretend more than a third of the country is just going to stop but we need better tactics. Let's all try to commit to something to bring about the change that is sorely needed.
