Sharang is actually the name of Dhanush 🏹 of Bhagwan Vishnu & of course of his poorna-avtar Bhagwan Krishna. Since he holds Sharang (dharan karna), he is known as "Sharang-dhar" or in common local language "Sarangdhar". So basically Sarangdhar is another name for Krishn/Vishnu
Since the character Sarangdhar belongs to Mathura so it is quite understandable that the choice of name will be revolving around principle deity of Mathura/Vrindavan. #Story9MonthsKi
