So I’ve been reading up on the old Pulse Fishing post Brexit triumph the govt are claiming.
Pulse Fishing was effectively banned in 1998 by the EU.
The Dutch got a partial lifting in 2010 for *research purposes*
They weren’t able to fish in the UK’s 12m offshore zone.
And then..
In 2015 it emerged there were 12 vessels pulse fishing in UK waters.

They were all British vessels.

Then in 2019, the EU said full ban was to be implemented no later than 2021.

So...
In 2019, UK gov put out statement on pulse fishing and how it was going to be banned.

Want to know how many vessels were still pulse fishing in UK waters in 2019?

Three. Two English and one Scottish.

And that’s Brexitwang.
