Feel in good position and can make ground up due to rank drop from last minute decisions that affected last GW. Look good with 15 DGW players and happy with FH draft. Even toyed with the idea of wildcarding and not using FH but decided will stick with plan been working towards

I then Spotify the latest fpl podcasts which I find amazingly addictive and the research and depth is amazing. I get so drawn in to them I feel like a sheep copying what they say and don’t play my way which last season I thought was pretty good at 7k

Podcasts are brilliant but maybe need more balance with my own ideas so I take more ownership for my decisions and how I do each week, instead of reflecting each week on my -4 or -8 and finding have fallen in rank again.

Prior to deadline day I had coufal & Soucek playing with Giroud & Taylor on bench. Listened to 1st podcast - Taylor out till after DGW - sold for Dias as essential for 18/19. 2nd podcast Werner must be upfront or Lamps jobs gone - Giroud to Watkins as again essential for 18/19

So currently on 22 pts not 41 which is a 40k rank drop. I predict this weekend Giroud now starts and gets a Hattie & Dias is the mysterious 5th Man City player with covid. But hey at least I’d get potato mans 11 pts back or 7 after the -4 I definitely shouldn’t have taken.
