How to Exit when your Trade idea is Invalidated ?

Among many other ways such as lack of follow through, abnormal volume behavior etc.

I went Short Yesterday
- at $29330,
- Stop above last high at $29705
- Take profit at range lows of $27830

What I wanted next :
MSB of 28820

: Price Swept previous lows of 28820 at high Volume
: Now price could go to previous highs again which meant 2 things

1. I can get better Short entry if market is Bearish
2. Market is Bullish

Either way, it meant EXIT.
Got out for +0.5R instead of -1R.
