There’s all these people on left twitter that used to be like MRAs and libertarians and shit and are now part of the “anti-woke” left or whatever and it’s so obvious what’s going on there. The target stayed the same but the rhetoric changed. Crazy that ppl don’t see it
A lot of these people are comedians which makes sense because stand up is a process where your goal is a specific response from people and you switch out different rhetorical tools to get to it
When i talk about this stuff i’m assuming everyone understands that the weaponization of identity by the ruling class is a huge problem and is bad and kamala harris is a cop and all that shit, BTW
But a lot of people are laundering their actual deranged hatred through that criticism. It’s fairly obvious. And the goal here was not supposed to be to get rid of like, civil rights and shit. It was to stop using that stuff to distract from actual equality and justice and shit
this picked up a lot of retweets and i think is being interpreted as a critique of like "bernie bros" or whatever and it's far from it. I am literally a bernie bro. i was in the bloomberg propaganda video.
what i'm criticizing is people that aren't actually doing anything other than gifting for likes and cash, and are perpetuating all this "anti-pc" shit. that shit does more harm than good
like there are people in this scene that aren't socialist organizers or anything like that that are just here because we created a safe media environment in which to express a certain kind of resentment
