Ok this is a huge scoop and honestly fascinating. There is a lot to break down about this. Can Dagnino give Kaiser a good enough offer. Does it make sense for both sides? What does this tell us? And I want to try and do that in this thread. https://twitter.com/letsgetreadynet/status/1345176676234268672
First question Can Dagnino give Kaiser a good enough offer. I think so but's it going to be a lot. At least it would have to be 5th 12th, and two Future first rounds. And honestly I don't think it's enough. I think he may also swap picks with Kaiser in the 4th round and offer
more future 1st or 2nd round picks. To do this Dagnino has to mortgage his future. It reminds me a lot of the Paul George trade the Clippers did to get Kawhi. Kaiser has all the leverage since he has other bidders for that pick and he can just keep it. If the Exchange doesnt get
this deal done then Batemen doesn't go to them. Kaiser can get it fortune of picks for this #1 pick but is it worth it for Kaiser. Imo absolutely. #1 pick isn't as valuable to Kaiser since he isn't trying to build two great teams (since its probable he's keeping Parker) he would
use the pick to round out his team with a SW player, which he can probably get if he trades down. Also even though its the #1 pick, 24 players are not available to be drafted. So value wise it's the 25th pick, and I'd rather have 29th and 36th picks since I don't think the
difference between 25 and 29 is big enough to cause Kaiser not to trade down if he gets a great offer. Now does it make sense for Dangino to mortgage his future for Batemen? Probably but its a much riskier move. I assume the pitch is teaming Batemen with either Barbarian or Rocha
and teaming whoever is left out with someone like Paul Preston or Ben Goddard. Does this better the roster? Yes. Does this increase the Exchange's chances of winning next year? Yes. If they don't win this year is Gucci screwed? Yes. If Gucci mortgages the future to build this
superteam, and they don't win the faction race again... Or 1-2 of those players have an off year, I don't think those elite players with have any loyalty to Gucci. They have to win or at least be closer then they were this year. If they don't win once in at LEAST 2 seasons then
Gucci may lose the core of players he traded his future for. And chemistry wise this could be disastrous. This could take a lot of ego management, something that Gucci was not the best at this year. Every faction is going to get better and if Dagnino makes this trade it doesn't
guarantee a title. It may improve the odds but if he doesnt get the faction title or his players dont win belts, then Exchange may have a long future ahead of them. If they make this move and it goes right the Exchange becomes the Yankees, if they make the move and it fails then
the Exchange becomes the Browns. Lastly I think this tells us some very clear details.
Batemen values obtaining a great teammate and stacked faction
There's a huge market for the #1 pick Kaiser can exploit
It is very likely both Barbarian and Rocha already agreed to be kept

otherwise this deal doesn't make sense.
Either way it will be fascinating to see how this plays out. Especially if this deal gets done, since it will affect the league in a lot of different way most of which are hard to predict. This would cause AD to be unprotected and that

alone will have a large impact on how the draft plays out. And if this deal doesn't get done this will become one of the greatest what ifs to look back upon and ponder. Either way very fascinating news and a lot to think about this offseason Schmoedown wise.
