I always here some people say they don’t believe in ancestors and African medicine & healing. It’s funny that we think it’s a belief thing when it’s not.

You cannot undo your family history by simply not believing.

A short thread.
Please, I’m not here to try force/convince/scare anyone into anything but rather trying to separate belief and reality.

What we don’t understand is that African healing and medicine works predominantly on facts. What happened, to whom and why. Where do you fall ?
You cannot change your genetic make up. You cannot change the fact the you are a product of your mother and father. To simply not believe won’t change this.

Your grandmother asking you for a goat, not believing isn’t going to change the fact that she’s your gran.
If you can understand how genetic illness and predispositions work medically, then you can understand how the same can apply spiritually.

You look, walk, talk and think like you’re great grandfather - yet you’re surprised when you have the same gifts he had?
If you’re going to accept the genetic gifts such as intelligence, size, speed, athlete ability - then you must be also willing to accept the spiritual.

You cannot pick and choose when it’s nice to benefit from being the descendant of a great man/woman.
