okay so like here’s a thread on why i hc will as autistic, as someone who’s autistic so maybe read if you want 
also like before i start this , this is just a headcanon, with my own perceptions, this is for comfort and there is no issue w any other neurodivergent person doing this for comfort, neurodivergent headcanons aren’t anything bad, they should actually be spoken abt more
Okay so this isn’t that long honestly it’s just as someone who is autistic i tend to have a lot of traits in common w them, one of them is being blunt, one example when he was talking w jonathan, smth small but 
also nervous stimming, one example being at the arcade, the snowball, one example is this
going non-verbal, once again shown multiple times especially when jonathan tried to talk to him, another being a need for alone time
aversion to touch, struggling w eye contact especially, as someone who is autistic a lot of common places are hard for me to handle + can cause sensory issues for me. this can include crowds
ALSO art and d&d are his special interests and music and he often tries to share them w people, will struggles w expressing his feelings and probably thinks the best way to show he cares is by giving them something he really really cares about
also hyper empathy, although some autistic people may struggle with empathy (which is perfectly fine!!), some can also be too empathetic, for example when he saw the girl crying and gave her his toy, and after being stuck in another dimension,, for like a week
he cares abt jonathan’s hand
