asexuality and hyper-sexuality are often seen as being direct opposites but I don't think they are. I'd even argue they often go together.

see: what we get presented as the "normal" kind of sexuality is attraction-based, narrow and very focused on specific people.
both people who are attracted to an unusually high number of people, and those who aren't attracted to anyone, break this norm.

and there's a huge overlap where hyper-sexual people often strike me as quite asexual, because their sexuality doesn't seem attraction-based
remember that being ace doesn't mean not wanting sex, just not experiencing attraction, and that can go either way - either having little interest in sexuality in general, or enjoying it with anyone who's compatible and up for it regardless of something as fickle as "attraction"
