so some of y’all might be wondering “who gives af about reddit? isn’t it just a bunch of white gamer dudes geeking out about stuff?”

I used to think the same thing but that’s not the case at all! Especially when it comes to the K-pop community on there.
There are multiple, very active k-pop subs on there. A lot of people (of all ages and backgrounds) use it as their primary source for updates, news and music recommendations.
Newer groups like SKZ, TXT, NCT, ENHYPEN etc have very active and dedicated fans on there.

That’s why there are a LOT more opinion posts about them and more engagement on posts about their new releases. The more engagement = more exposure of the group to non-fans.
It’s basically like Pann tbh. Bunch of community posts and people comment and the more people upvote and comment, the more people see.

For all of y’all that embarrass ifans by commenting in English on Pann when you’re not supposed to, please get your ass to Reddit NOW 😂
If you’re thinking of taking a break from stan twitter but still want to talk about G0T7 or K-pop in general and stay up to date, I would recommend joining r/Kpop and r/G0T7 as an alternative.

Way less toxic since it’s moderated.
