Positional Trading 1/5
Invest in 5-6 projects max for a mid / long term play!
Why not just buy more of your best ideas
One of my earliest mistakes in 2016/17 was having exposure to over 20-30 alts - scattered across various exchanges.
This was a nightmare to manage drawdown

2/5 - Position size is important.
Invest larger amounts into your best idea's but not too much where it has a detrimental impact on your overall portfolio (risk management).
Scaling in is a better approach than a one hit wonder & puking your position.
Avoid going all in!

3/5 - Be Greedy when winning
Let your winners run - you waited months for excellent buying opportunities. Now be patient.
Take partial profits but don't exit your whole position for a 10-20% gain & watch it pull a 400% plus move unless you have compelling reason to do so.

4/5 - Adapt to a change in situation
Either add meaningfully to an existing investment or sell out. Both give you the possibility of changing the ultimate outcome. You can turn a loser into a winner. Expect to find yourself in a losing situation, have a plan to adapt.

5/5 - Liquidity is key
We all want gems, great! - but what is your exit strategy?
Assume a low cap pulls off a 10x - is their enough liquidity for you to exit on the way up.
There is nothing worse than knowing what
to do, wanting to do it, but being unable to do it.
