DOH-Okaloosa has received 2,000 total doses of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine. The vaccine has been authorized for emergency use by the @US_FDA, under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). DOH-Okaloosa is following Executive Order 20-315 for vaccine administration. (1/7)

Three closed vaccination clinics are being held to "vaccinate the vaccinators." These events will vaccinate the Okaloosa County EMS, local Fire Departments, and DOH-Okaloosa staff members who will be providing the vaccination to members of the public. (2/7)

The first vaccination drive-thru clinic for the public will be held on January 6, 2021 at @NWFStateCollege. At this clinic, 168 doses will be distributed to older adults aged 65+. The first event is a soft opening. All vaccination appointment slots are full. (3/7)

More vaccination clinics will be held the week of January 11, 2021. DOH-Okaloosa is currently working to finalize the dates, times and locations. At each of these clinics, 600+ vaccination doses will be provided as supply allows. (4/7)

DOH-Okaloosa expects to receive additional doses of vaccine. Please know that you will have additional opportunities to receive the vaccination as more shipments are distributed to DOH-Okaloosa. There is no waiting list for appointments at this time. (5/7)

When additional vaccination clinics are announced, you will be able to make an appointment through DOH-Okaloosa’s Public Information Line. The number is 850-344-0566. It is operated 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including holidays. (6/7)
