These stats are taken from the newly release CDC Case Surveillance file with 13 million cases, 703K hospitalizations, 75K ICUs, and 239K deaths. More stats across the entire pandemic (thru 12/15):

I mentioned Team Apocalypse has a problem. They will tell you that the hospitalization and CFR rates are much lower now because we are testing more.

Regardless, our healthcare system (the best in the world) has found significant ways to reduce the deaths from hospitalizations and ICUs. Look at the drops in rates from quarter to quarter.
- Hosp. rate drops by 700%
- ICU rate drops by 270%
- Deaths rate from hosp. down 169%

OK. Now watch this. Looks the massive drop in hospitalization risk and death if you have NO EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITION.
You are 7x less likely to die from COVID if you have no significant existing medical condition.

And then if you add age into the equation you can see that the incredible shift in risk to yourself and loved ones if you are under the age of 65.
