She was to receive her COVID-19 vaccine on the 22nd, but refused when she saw how staff were being transported to the vaccine clinic (7 of them crammed into a tiny van.) She found her own method of transportation the next day. #COVID19BC #BCpoli

She has told many of us in private that the situation at LMP is much more dire than any of us can even begin to imagine — from the lack of staff, to the conditions the patients are being kept in — but that they’re told not to speak out about it. #COVID19BC #BCpoli

Last month @JJHorgan claimed British Columbia was “as transparent as any other jurisdiction in North America.” Um. Silencing healthcare workers isn’t being transparent whatsoever. #COVID19BC #BCpoli

If our Government and health officials can’t be honest about what’s really going on in places like Little Mountain Place and other LTC facilities, it REALLY makes you wonder what else they’re hiding/trying to downplay — and we should all be worried. #COVID19BC #BCpoli

To the reporters asking me to “out” LMP staff: Sorry, not gonna happen. I know you need a story, but if you have questions about what’s going on in LTC they should be directed towards @AdrianDix, @DrBonnieHenry and @JJHorgan since they’re the ones keeping everyone in the dark.

Some* reporters (*not all — we all know which ones I’m referring to) play softball with their ?’s to Dix, Henry and Horgan during briefings — and that’s part of the problem, too. Not getting the answers you want? Push harder. Isn’t that the whole point of journalism?
