Fell asleep about 10pm last night and woke up around 8am- truly a New Year's Miracle. I woke up and thought, "what the hell am I doing?"
Made the bed right away. My "Divorced Dad Apartment" became immediately less miserable. I'm gonna do that more often.

I'm gonna listen to more music. @Khruangbin & @JasonIsbell were my top finds this year. Dove deeply into Sam Cooke, Oasis, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, PJ Harvey & the Bee Gees.
I will continue to lean on @JBernMN, @DJPie and @paranoiacs for their impeccable musical guidance.

@morgansimpson gave a sermon that spoke to "honoring our children as they are is honoring the work of the creator." This kid has so much to give the world that she's hard to fit in any mold. That's how the creator made her.

I'm your standard belvedere/soda kind of drinker but I'm employing the "2 drink max" rule in 2021. That's it. Not having a 3rd drink.

I miss Minneapolis. I miss how cosmopolitan it is. I miss the accent. I miss how *horribly* people dress, and most importantly I miss St. Paul's inferiority complex. I also miss the insane level of elite golf courses.

Thieves have left me with one bike, "The Silver Bullet" by @PUBLICBikes. It's the nicest bike I've ever had.

In closing, I'm gonna be an ally to those who have less, those who are marginalized and denied. I'm gonna be less selfish, more generous with my time, energy and resources.
