Ericsson's CEO points out to the Swedish Minister of Trade that his company might be punished as a result of Huawei being shut out from Swedish 5G, and is calling on the minister "to act" and "step in to take the lead" by reversing the ban, issued on recommendations by ->
-> the Swedish Security Service and military. When the Minister of Trade doesn't heed his call, Ekholm issues thinly veiled threats that Ericsson will consider to leave Sweden if Huawei is not allowed to build Swedish 5G. Ekholm also revelas in the conversation ->
-> that Ericsson was assisting Huawei in finding legal representation to appeal the 5G ban issued by Swedish minorities. "There is a lot of cowards out there", he says to the Swedish Minister of Trade after failing to find a Swedish legal firm who wants to work with Huawei.
