I've called a union meeting at my school tomorrow. I'm going to propose that we all refuse to go into work next week, even if the govt says we should. It's not safe for us. It's not safe for the communities we serve.

I should clarify: I think we should open for vulnerable children and those of key workers, and we should have a staff rota in place to provide for them. Couldn't fit all this detail in the original tweet!
Section 44 of Employments Rights Act offers you protection if you refuse to work when you have a reasonable belief there is a ‘serious or imminent danger’ to your health and safety or that of others around you.
