This year in 2021, if there's anything we need to do when getting new people into BTS, we need to start mentioning that they should stay away from Twitter as a baby ARMY. This place is a shthole that will only influence your opinions on the boys and BH in a terrible way.
This is why there's been such a huge growth in people buying into solo and manti narratives. They're not taking the time away from social media to get to know the boys from their content and then they come on Twitter starting at zero and get led astray by all these weirdos.
Y'all got ARMYs who joined last year, sometimes even this year with like 20k followers dictating to their followers how the fandom as a whole should feel about something when y'all weren't even around to see BH sub their first Bangtan Bomb like c'mon man :/
I'd like to clarify that when I say this, I mean to take the time out to watch/listen BTS and BH's official content away from all types of social media (not just twt tbh) and learn for yourself about the boys, their music, how they operate, and what their personalities are like.
Don't just come on to Twitter or Insta or Reddit and read from other people what they think the boys are like. Go to the SOURCE and learn for yourself. People's opinions on social media can ruin the stanning experience for you and I've seen it happen multiple times.
Also, I only say this because I speak from experience. Became a fan right after Wings and didn't come onto stan twt until around early 2018. In that time, I listened to their music, researched their lyrics, and watched their other content. That helped me navigate stan twt easier.
