JUST IN: The House is changing its rules to permit committee chair to reissue subpoenas before their full committees are constituted to prevent an interruption to litigation

It also bars former lawmakers convicted of certain crimes from being on the floor https://rules.house.gov/sites/democrats.rules.house.gov/files/117-HRes5-SxS.pdf
The new rules also expressly authorize subpoenas to any "current or former president or vice president" in their personal capacities or through the WH.
And the rules would also bar lawmakers from knowingly disseminating deepfakes to mislead the public. And it would sanction lawmakers who help reveal the identity of a protected whistleblower
And proxy voting will continue in the new Congress, subject to the same restrictions as it is currently.
