I expect to catch some heat for this one but...

if you're a contender in dynasty, the Bills WR you should be buying this offseason is actually Cole Beasley - not Gabriel Davis - and here's why:

(A THREAD)
Again, first and foremost, it needs to be noted that this is advice for CONTENDING dynasty teams.

If you're not anywhere close to competing for a title within the next year or two, then this thread is not for you.
In only 15 games this year, Beasley is the WR20 (!!!) on the season in PPR and the WR21 in half-PPR. Even in terms of points per game, he is the WR28 and WR31, respectively.

So basically, Beasley has been a locked-and-loaded WR2/3 in ALL fantasy formats all season long.
Stefon Diggs is the unquestioned alpha, but the Bills LOVE to throw and Josh Allen has transformed into one of the league's top QBs.

For 3 years in a row now, the Bills have run over 70% of their plays with three WRs on the field.

This offense runs through the WR position.
For the 2nd year in a row, Beasley has seen over 100 targets. His 107 targets in 15 games this year sits 18th overall in the NFL. He had 106 in 2019.

More importantly, he has 15 more catches this season, demonstrating how much he and Allen have continued to improve together.
What about Gabriel Davis and John Brown??

Brown could be an offseason cut candidate. The 30 Y.O. has started to succumb to the injury bug once again lately, and the Bills can save over $8 million by releasing him.
The rookie Davis has been electric at times this season, and he is pretty much a younger, fresher version of Brown anyway—meaning Davis can simply play the deep-threat role that Brown had on lock for the past few seasons.
With Davis and Diggs on the outside, Beasley should continue to serve as the reliable slot threat. Even with the continued rise of tight end Dawson Knox, Allen trusts Beasley to help move the chains.

That won't change in 2021.
Beasley is also under contract for the next two seasons, and his $7.5 million cap hit each year is a freakin STEAL.

It would also cost the Bills more than double to cut Beasley than it would to cut Brown.
I just think Beasley is someone who is still really flying under the radar somehow, and I think many aren't even considering him simply because he'll be 32 next season.

I'm sorry, but that is NOT an automatic death sentence, especially for slot receivers in a top-5 offense.
I wouldn't overspend for him by any means, but you could perhaps get him for a 3rd or maybe just an overvalued young RB like Darrell Henderson or Alexander Mattison.

Davis, on the other hand, would cost AT LEAST a 2nd-rounder plus probably even more.
Again, while everyone else drools over Gabe Davis this offseason, be the savvy manager who goes out and gets Beasley instead.

It might be a lot easier than you think...
