There is a lot to learn in listening to how concerned women are about feminism appearing too alienating to men, worried about the right tone to use when critiquing oppression, while still living in a society with laws that alienate women from experiencing their rights as humans.
It just reinforces how conditioned too many women are in the normalization of being born into a life of struggle and inferiority, that it isn’t the oppression that terrifies you, it’s how it is received by the people who create the laws, and are complicit in how it is propagated.
When your foremost priority is being acceptable to men, your message will of course be met with more approval. Yes, you will get your pat on the back from men, the very same pat on the back women are given for staying in line and doing the right thing by patriarchal standards.
Feminism presents ideas that are disruptive to the continuance of a system where men are solely centered and prioritized.
Feminism will never be acceptable to any man who believes strongly in that system.
As long as your message challenges it, no tone adjustment will matter.
While you worry about how to say, “Stop murdering us” politely, understand that critiquing a powerful system that appears beneficial to a group of people will be considered threatening, whether or not it is.
Like, how has your nicer tone made a difference if we are still here?
Move out of the way if you are worried about being accepted by people who live unbothered by a society that treats you secondary.

You have yet to learn your actual place.

When you do know, how to ask nicely for what is your right, will be the last thing on your mind.
