I have been more willing to spend my money on books, courses, and platforms that provide value.

Last year around this time I would spend money on dumb shit.

I just don't see the value in those instant gratification purchases anymore.

How 2020 changed my mindset:

>>THREAD<<
#1: Forced Introspection

When Covid-19 was first announced and we had stay-at-home-orders all over the country, it forced you to be inside.

I am an extrovert, so this was not an easy thing.

Being alone forced me to look within and figure out what activities made me happy.
I happened to come across the stock market and a spark was ignited.

I found myself spending all my time (and money) trying to learn about the stock market.

Books, podcasts, and my surroundings all helped lead to a complete mindset change.
#2: Reinforcement

Once you find out something you are passionate about, learn more about it.

Doing more research and finding out more will make it clear if it's for you or not.

If you can't dedicate the time to learning about it, it's not a passion of yours.

Keep searching.
KEY TAKEAWAYS 🔑:

- Take time to find out what you love to do
- Can that love for something be monetized?
- Once you find out what you love, immerse yourself in it

Once you find that passion, it does not feel like work.
This could not have been possible without @CJ_Johnson17th Stock Market course.

He simplifies the Stock Market with examples that ANYONE can understand.

Not Investing in the Stock Market because you "don't know how" is no longer an excuse.
