First #tweet of 2021:

Those ministers (SK, AB, ON) who can't seem to follow the rules they've imposed on society have no business collecting another public paycheck beyond their covert vacation end.

And what to even say about their respective premiers?

I would prepare an adjective list for comparison but there are so many that would be appropriate.

Feel free to add your suggestions.

I can't remember being this disappointed in public officials, ever.
Thats about 45 of my 50 years (been a family discussion since I can remember)
I'll take some blame for being as silent as I have been on the subject, but I had hoped (even in the face of undeniable proof) that our elected would rise up to the occasion. Perhaps even lead by example.
Sadly however, the only place you'll find any leadership these days are
In the opposition seats.
Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario;

@PremierScottMoe @jkenney Doug Ford

You are the CEO's in your respective provinces.
Time for you to act like it.

You wouldn't tolerate a maintenance employee stealing or breaking safety rules. Justice would be swift.
But a minister, no ho. We wouldn't want public officials being held accountable for their actions now would we.

This reeks of arrogance and walks like a pig, Sirs.

Happy New Year.

And the worst of it all is this:

You couldn't even hope to get a straight answer out of any of these three men because of the seat count in their respective legislatures.

We need an accountability mechanism for public employees, more specifically geared towards government.
A good start to this would be to only allow personal donations to political parties and apply a cap.

But I suspect the nefarious would find a workaround to this as well.

Feel free to add your solution below.
At the end of the day, things might be different if we were trending downward in cases/deaths.

Perhaps a jail sentence for the ministers in question might be a more appropriate outcome.
