fwiw I think children deserve a ton of credit for how they handled 2020. We asked them to change their lives in numerous terrible ways, largely for the protection of adults. And they did it.
It’s tempting to think that children were told, not asked. But that’s not so.

I can’t count the # of times in 2020 when I asked my kids to do things that would have been unreasonable in 2019, and against which they could have rebelled, quit, etc.

Kids have empathy. And grit.
