More than enough time to turn those dreadful ORs around & to finish strong.
Below is a boring guide to a COVID proof way of finishing strong.
The list may be obvious to some & helpful to others.

#1 Always Place your Vice Captain on a player from a different team from your captain. Games can & will be postponed leaving you without those luscious Captain points.
#2 A strong bench. That means 14/15 playable assets. The likes of Brewster, Bissouma & Mitchell won’t cut it. Invest in players for rotation rather than back up.
#3 Avoid team triple ups. You don’t want 3-6 players missing out because of a game postponement. There will always be a good alternative to that 3rd player. Double ups max.
#4 seek out nailed options. With the risks of dipping into your bench being higher than usual, players like Mahrez, Aguero, Podence, Saiss etc bring unnecessary risk & could be the difference between fielding 10 or 11 players.
#5 Team value no longer matters. Wait until late as possible to make those transfers. News on game postponements & Covid transmissions can emerge at anytime. Saving 0.1m isn’t worth the risk anymore. Be patient.
#6 Where possible, try to obtain 2 free transfers. Avoid sideways moves for the sake of a FT. Having the ability to make 3 changes for -4 points could be pivotal in escaping disaster when the unexpected inevitably happens.
#7 Finally, no walking under ladders, no breaking mirrors, wear your lucky underpants & check your horoscopes. FPL will always have a large element of luck, but certain decisions can weigh the luck in your favour.
Happy new year & enjoy the rest of the season.
